This official application from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) is designed to help in the search for and safe recovery of missing children. It includes:

‣ A real-time feed of active AMBER Alerts including information about the victim, the abductor, and other details like the kind of vehicle they may be traveling in or the area where they may be located. This feed updates periodically in the background, and notifies you of new alerts.

‣ A listing of missing children from NCMEC including photos and any known details about the circumstances of their disappearance.

‣ A listing of missing children from NCMEC organized by the states from where they are missing.

If a user has information about a case or has seen one of the missing children, they can press a button and automatically call NCMEC’s toll-free 24-hour hotline 1-800-THE-LOST (800-843-5678), or send a report that includes their current GPS coordinates and their phone number in case more details are needed. NCMEC staff will use the information from these calls and reports to potentially help law enforcement recover the missing child.

I have downloaded this app. my friend has told me that it is a good way to spread the news and that there is a better chance of finding that child if a lot of people chip in to find those kids I have looked all the way down the list and you those kids that have grown up would not be kidnapped I think people should download this app for could safety and just to feel better about your self because you r helping in tons of ways. DOWNLOAD IT

I just watched a movie on Netflix called AMBER Alert! Please check out that movie. It will make you want to download this app. BTW its based on a true story :(

This is a very great app. Today the AMBER Alert went off today and I feel really bad for the kid who reported missing. This AMBER Alert will actually go off its a great app to let you know whats going on in the world with reporting lost kids

a by state selection would be a great start. also it needs to work without app being opened.

I got this app long ago and a week ago I found this little girl waking with this man on the side walk on my way moving to another state and this little girl had been missing for almost a year and I remember seeing her face on this app and I called the police and they contact the mother.

Some bad moments

In the last 2 days alone there have been 3 AMBER Alerts issued in my state (I know this because the STATE not this app is sending me alerts on my phone) and not a ONE is listed on this app. If people actually kept this app up to date and accurate this would be an amazing app. The people running this app should be ashamed.

Disappointed that this app doesnt let me know if someone is missing in my state or a neighboring state to Kansas but I just got 2 alerts for Florida and California..

I agree there needs to be notifications and a way to share the alerts

Like at all. Really. Every page is blank and it keeps saying it cant connect to the server. Way to help save lives.

Notification dont pop up and if I click on a state, it says that I have an invalid responce from the server.

Updates for alerts that were active! 2 MONTHS AGO!!!!! And any way, why the hell do you have AMBER Alerts from 1970s?!?!?! Way to save lives
